THE party season is in full swing and once the Christmas parties and office do’s are but a distant memory, Winchester Cocktail Week will be the perfect antidote to the long, dark nights of winter.

From Monday February 6 to Sunday February 12, the city of Winchester will light up with a dazzling array of workshops, masterclasses and parties in over two dozen of the city’s top retailers and hospitality businesses. Throughout the week wristband holders will be able to access exclusive discounts as they imbibe and dine their way around Winchester.

Tickets can be purchased for £15 at Winchester Tourist Information Centre or online at www.winchestercocktailweek.co.uk and, in February, can be exchanged for an official wristband and souvenir guide book at Cabinet Rooms’ Winchester Cocktail Week Hub.

Gary Whiter, co-founder of Cabinet Rooms, said, “For the last few months we have been busy organising Winchester Cocktail Week in collaboration with our official venues and their drinks partners. In 2017, we are excited to bring you an even richer programme of events, that now also includes flair bartending workshops and special deals at Hampshire Farmers’ Market. There really will be something going on to suit all tastes!”

Cabinet Rooms has worked with the event’s headline sponsors Rooster Marketing, Paris Smith LLP and Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, as well as official sponsors Winchester BID, Fever-Tree, Nectar, Isle of Wight Distillery and Artis, to build on the success of the inaugural event, which took place in February 2016. With more venues taking part, over two dozen special events and nearly 300 wristbands already sold, the second Winchester Cocktail Week promises to be even bigger and better than the first.
