JUST the tonic for a cold January evening Laugh Out Loud Comedy returns to Bournemouth Pavilion tonight ( 8pm) with four top comics.

Jonny Awsum has exploded onto the professional comedy scene with a crowd-pleasing set that's seen him smash thousands of gigs all around the world. With his likeable style and trusty guitar, Jonny’s musings include everything from the white lies he tells his girlfriend to his new home town of Croydon and the memory of his first love at eight years old.

Comfortable with any type of gig, Jonny's feel-good set has captivated audiences at every kind of venue from pub back rooms to 700 seat theatres and he’s performed internationally from Cyprus to Slovakia, Austria to Hungary. Along the way he has become an award winning and reliably hilarious act!

Equally at home in front of a camera, Jonny has recently appeared on the nation’s TV screens, presenting for Sky Sports, is a familiar face from the current Experian adverts, and features in the Cravendale ‘Cats with Thumbs’ campaign, which has been viewed over a million times on YouTube.

The Big Issue said of him: “Awsum is sharp, likeable and his infectious and amusing songs, largely inspired by his day-today observations, provide numerous belly-aching, laugh-out-loud cheers.”

A truly sought after comedy mind, extremely in demand at an international level - everyone wants a piece of Michael Legge and his often improvised irreverence and spikey tongue in cheek antics have been put to use on the likes of Sky One's ‘Street Cred Sudoku’ and MTV's European Music Awards. The themes in his shows often include the spontaneity of his surroundings.

"Often copied, never matched" said Time Out of this live-wire performer.

Steve Bugeja is something of a BBC favourite after being crowned the BBC Radio New Comedy Award winner in 2013 and being selected for Radio 4’s ‘Fresh From The Fringe. He also won the BBC’s Funny on Three sitcom competition In 2012 and the BBC’s Jesting About 2 sketch competition. Its doesn't stop there as he's written jokes for Radio 4’s The Show What You Wrote, Newsjack and for BB2's Mock The Week and Russell Howard’s Good News as well as Channel 4's 8 out of 10 Cats. Its easy to see why he's already a TV stalwart as he has that engagingly gentle touch and a unique instinct for the funnies.

Chortle said: “Great things surely await” while The Guardian said he: “has an eye for original comic detail that’s all his own.’”

The compere and MC for the evening is Damion Larkin.
