THREE special musical cinema screenings designed for people with dementia, learning or physical difficulties, as well as their families and carers will be brought to The Point this spring.

Screenings are open to anyone and everyone, and will be shown with the lights up a little and the sound down a touch in a relaxed, warm atmosphere where none of the usual rules apply. Sing along, get up and dance; just do what the music makes you feel!

On Tuesday February 14, relive the magic of Robert Wise and Jerome Robbin’s Oscar-winning musical, West Side Story, following the tale of forbidden love between rival gangs in New York.

Join Gene Kelly and the late Debbie Reynolds and start Singin’ in the Rain on Tuesday March 14 in the classic musical comedy that features one of the most infamous song and dance routines in cinema history.

Finally, return to the Golden Age of Hollywood with High Society on Tuesday April 18, where an all-star cast of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and John Lund compete for the affections of Grace Kelly.

Tickets are £5 or free for carers and include a complimentary hot drink and biscuit. To book yours visit thepointeastleigh.co.uk or call 023 8065 2333.
