IT has been the most talked about and relevant return to music by an artist in decades! Having sold over 15 million albums, achieving 16 Top Ten hits and multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries, taking over festival stages around the world, selling out headline tours in seconds, to securing a residency at the iconic Ibiza Rocks Hotel …It’s official, Craig David is back and in a big way!

Southampton's very own home-grown star is on his 15-date 'Following My Intuition Tour' that includes Bournemouth International Centre this Sunday ( March 19).

Demand for Craig’s live shows are higher than ever following the incredible success of his world famous, critically acclaimed TS5 shows. Starting out as the most exclusive pre-party in Miami, hosted in his penthouse home, Tower Suite 5, TS5 has gone on to become the must-see live event of the summer with Craig playing sets at the biggest festivals and clubs around the world. Having previously sold-out London’s KOKO, Brixton Academy and the Manchester Academy in a matter of seconds, he also took over Glastonbury’s Sonic Stage, bringing over 25k people to the tent and achieving the record for the biggest crowd at the stage in Glastonbury history. He was a massive hit when he headlined Southampton's Common People Festival last May and Craig has also spent his summer in Ibiza with his residency at Ibiza Rocks Hotel.

As if playing at the BIC wasn't enough, David recently announced his biggest ever home-town gig at the 15,000 capacity Ageas Bowl in Southampton on September 1.

He said of the Ageas show: "Over the years I've played the Guildhall and I did Common People last year, but this is on my own - and having grown up there and knowing the venue for so long, it was incredible to be able to announce that one. It's quite surreal - it's something I never take for granted."

David was a big star on the R&B and garage scene in the early 2000s, after featuring on the single Re-Rewind, by Artful Dodger.

The avid Southampton FC supporter has released six studio albums and worked with a variety of artists such as Tinchy Stryder, Kano, Jay Sean, Rita Ora and Sting. He has 20 UK top 40 singles, and seven UK top 40 albums, selling more than 14 million records worldwide as a solo artist.

David's latest album, Following My Intuition, was released last September and he admits it brought with it a new-found wisdom.

"When I first started making music, I was just passionate," he remembers, "I didn't know what intuition was. I was saying 'I'm not going to go out with my friends because I want to finish this music'. There was something that was saying 'stay in and finish these songs'. Little did I know, that's what intuition is.

"I know the impact these songs have had on people's lives - I didn't know that was possible. With every song I make, it has the potential not only to make me happy, but has the possibility for someone to say 'my song of 2017 was this'.

Craig is proud and excited to be taking singer-songwriter, Lauren Faith with him on this tour as his special guest. 21-year-old Lauren worked with Craig on his new album providing stunning vocals and co-writing on tracks Got it Good and Sink or Swim.
