IT’S the perfect way to celebrate a classical Christmas.

Singing sensation Katherine Jenkins will perform a show of seasonal songs at Mayflower Theatre on December 21.

The venue will take a break from this year’s panto, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves starring Craig Revel Horwood and The Chuckle Brothers, for one night only for the festive concert, which follows her sell out appearance in December last year.

Katherine will be joined by the London Concert Orchestra under the baton of long term conductor Anthony Inglis and acclaimed singer Mark Vincent.

The Welsh classical superstar officially became the most successful artist in UK Classical chart history when her latest album, Celebration become her 12th UK Classical No.1 album.

She has performed for the Pope, Presidents and Royalty – including performing by special request at Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations. Most recently, Katherine wowed audiences and critics alike with her stellar performance as Julie Jordan in Lonny Price’s semi-staged production of Carousel at the London Coliseum.

Special guest Mark Vincent is a celebrated young Australian tenor. He won the third season of Australia’s Got Talent and has recorded seven studio albums.

Tickets for the show, the last night of Katherine’s Christmas tour, are available from 023 8071 1811 or mayflower.org.uk
