ARTISAN Theatre School, based in Bursledon Southampton, had a very special visit from top children’s casting director Ann Koska who came to observe one of the schools acting lessons.
Following this visit, six of their pupils were selected for the Solo -Star Wars film and experienced a week of filming on a professional set with top director Ron Howard. Ron Howard also selected Grace Robins and Janine XU for extra roles whilst filming following an improvisation audition, which is reflective of the pupils hard work and acting abilities.
Following the success, they launched Artisan Casting Agency, which is providing pupils with the opportunity of being seen by top casting directors.
Artisan offers drama dance and singing lessons for children aged 2-18 years, for all abilities, whether it's to build confidence or to pursue a career in the arts.
Solo is out in cinemas on May 25.
