SOME of the country’s finest tribute bands will join together at Southampton’s Fake Festival tomorrow in the third instalment of the touring tribute festival.
The Police Force, Kazabian, Oasish, Flash, New 2 and Really Hot Chili Peppers will provide entertainment throughout the day in the event that takes place from 12pm, and runs until 11pm, in Mayflower Park
The look and sound-a-likes deliver an accurate version of real life stage shows from the celebrated bands, and this year for the first time organisers have doubled the line-up - meaning revellers get to witness six pro-level fake bands.
They will be joined on stage by local support bands, providing the warm up to get the audience in the party mood.
Festival-goers are encouraged to bring their singing voices, dancing shoes and enjoy the acts belting out some classic songs.
Not only can this year’s Southampton Fake Festival-goers enjoy the live shows, but they can also get up close and personal with their idols, as they pass through the famous Fake Festivals white marquee, grabbing a beer before they go on stage.
Although the 2018 event is the third in Southampton, Fake Festivals have been touring for 12 summers.
Tickets are on sale until midnight tonight, or available on the door tomorrow.
