THE Nuffield Southampton Theatres, NST City, is delighted to be hosting The Lindsey Read School of Dance in Lights, Camera, Dance – an extravagance of dance and musical theatre celebrating some of the most iconic movies of our time, tonight and tomorrow.

Lights, Camera, Dance nearly had to pull out after the previous two theatres that were due to host the dance school had to disappoint due to a lightning strike and double booking, so it was a case of third time lucky.

NST City provided the perfect venue at short notice, allowing the dance school to glide their way onto the stage in this state of the art theatre.

Principal, Lindsey Shelley, said: “The students have been given a wonderful opportunity at very short notice thanks to NST City to showcase their dance and acting skills which has culminated in over four months of rehearsals with fantastic contribution in choreography and costumes.

“I am extremely proud of the commitment each and every student has given to this show during uncertain times and incredibly grateful to NST City for this break.”

The Lindsey Read School of Dance was established in 1994 by Principal Lindsey Shelley, providing excellence in dance and musical theatre for students aged 3 to 18. Classes include Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Musical Theatre, building on basic foundation level to advanced technical skills, with a strong emphasis on developing skills as a hobby or with a view to pursuing a career in the Performing Arts industry.

Tickets are still available for the shows which can be bought at: www.nstheatres.co.uk/whats-on/lights-camera-dance.
