THE Southampton Festival of Music and Drama is back with a vengeance this week.

The spectacular festival, which dates back to 1927, includes a host of concerts, workshops and classes for hundreds of talented youngsters from across the city.

There are dozens of individual events with singing, a range of instruments and performing arts, all at Thornden Hall, which also hosts the finale concert featuring all the winners on Friday March 19.
