THIS year marks 100 years of aviation in Eastleigh and the birth of Southampton Airport.
To celebrate BAA, Eastleigh Borough Council and The Point are collaborating to produce a large scale community production to tell a story of the events, people and places that changed not only a community but the world of flight forever.
The project has commissioned writer Simon David Eden to write a script entitled When the Saintz Go Marching In – and The Point are looking for budding actors of all ages to audition for a part in the show.
Auditions take place this weekend and those who are successful will go on to rehearse for the play, which will be performed at The Point from June 12 to 14.
For more information and to book an audition place, call Louise Rickwood on 023 8062 7806 or email louise.rickwood@eastleigh.gov.uk.
