THE country may be in the grip of winter, but a new art exhibition has brought a splash of brightness.
Artist group Artseen has put on an exhibition at the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, in Ampfield, near Romsey, called Paint Let Loose.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Romsey, John Burgess and wife Christine, were given a private viewing of the exhibition, at the Visitor Pavilion of the gardens in Jermyns Lane.
Works featured are a mixture of styles and media with framed originals and a wide selection of unframed paintings, prints and cards, which showcase a range of colours.
Entry to the exhibition is free.
