A NEW chief executive has been appointed for a charity which offers advice, support and guidance to visually-impaired and blind people.
David Pearce will take up the reins of the Middlesex Association for the Blind which includes the boroughs of Harrow, Brent, Hillingdon and Ealing on January 21. Mr Pearce said he was looking forward to helping ensure the association offered the best possible service.
"There are some great challenges ahead and it is vital we raise the profile of MAB within the community it serves, along with establishing regular funding and building on the volunteer base of helpers to work alongside us to offer an effective and caring service," he said.
