COMEDIAN and folk singer Richard Digance will perform at Strapped For Cash’s gala charity gig at the Ageas Bowl on Thursday.
The BAFTA nominated entertainer, above, will support Hampshire Cricket xhairman Rod Bransgrove’s band, below, who will be launching their new EP, Kick Me When I’m Down.
Digance’s glittering career has been acknowledged through numerous awards within both the music and entertainment industries with a Gold Award from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters his highest accolade.
All profits from the event will go to the club’s official charity, Hampshire Cricket in the Community.
Hampshire Cricket in the Community is a charity that offers an innovative range of sporting, educational, entrepreneurial, health and welfare programmes allowing individuals of all ages to aspire, dream and excel.
There will also be a host of local favourites attending including former England and Hampshire cricketer David Gower and Saints legend Matt Le Tissier.
General admission tickets are priced at £10 and are available to purchase through the Ageas Bowl’s online ticketing website and from the ground’s ticketing and membership office during normal working hours.
The event, which starts at 8.00pm, will be in the Ageas Bowl’s Atrium with licensed bars and food options available throughout.
A limited number of hospitality places are also available and includes a sumptuous pre-event dinner and VIP viewing area. These can be purchased via the Ageas Bowl’s online ticketing website.
