WATERSIDE Theatre Company premieres its new version of Sleeping Beauty tonight.
Steven Allen has once again put pen to paper and delivered a script to amuse all the family in a production that runs until Saturday.
Audiences can expect a “fun-filled, marvellously magical, cunningly cool, punchy panto” right on their doorstep at Waterside Theatre, Holbury.
Starring alongside Sleeping Beauty is the vain Prince Sebastian and his sidekick Edward – but who will be the true love to wake her from her sleep?
She is looked after by her Nanny Marbelle, who considers herself a professional psychic, and a whole host of fairies led by Fairy Dawnmother.
The evil Fairy Duskheart is responsible for putting the spell on the spinning wheel that puts Sleeping Beauty to sleep, but can Duskheart really get revenge like this, or will true love, family and friends win the day?
