STAND-up comedian Jo Caulfield is at Forest Arts Centre (New Milton) tomorrow with her new show, Uninformed Opinions.

Jo told the Daily Echo:Uninformed Opinions is about misunderstandings and misinformed people – basically, it’s a comedy show for anyone who has ever wanted to shout, “Shut up, you don’t know what you’re talking about!

“There’ll also be a lot of material about relationships, dating and why men feel the need to constantly quote lines out of Gangster films.”

Coming in the lead up to Valentine’s Day it seems the perfect time to explore the “nightmare worlds of dating and relationships”, she says.

Nominated as “the best female stand-up in the country” (Chortle.co.uk) and “one of the Top 100 Comedians” (Channel 4), Jo was Graham Norton’s head writer for all five seasons of the BAFTA-winning So Graham Norton.

Radio shows include The News Quiz, Fighting Talk and Armando Iannucci’s Charm Offensive as well as her own critically acclaimed Radio 4 comedy show, It’s That Jo Caulfield Again.

The Times wrote of Jo: “Many of the points Jo Caulfield makes about the human condition would have sociologists stroking their beards in admiration, but her audiences tend to be laughing too much to notice.”
