EASTLEIGH College students took to the stage to perform in front of a sell-out crowd for their arts showcase.

More than 50 supported learning students, aged between 16 to 21-years-old, performed The Entertainers – a lively musical inspired by well-know Hollywood films.

After the show, the pupils put on a special exhibition to showcase their art and served home-made canapés.

A charity raffle also saw proceeds raised for local organisation Solent Mind.

Course manager for skills for independence and work, Sharon Priest, said: “The students have worked really hard since the rehearsals started back in November. They have been fully involved in all aspects of the show, from devising set pieces to costume making.

“All their effort has paid off – they’ve put on terrific performances.”
