Audiences can play a part in creating a unique theatrical experience when mountaineering comes to The Salberg at Salisbury Playhouse from tomorrow until Saturday.

This interactive production gives people a chance to immerse themselves in the action and influence the direction the evening takes.

Combining video projections, sound installations and audience participation, mountaineering explores the journey of life.

Posing questions about the choices we make – both big and small – we are asked to contemplate how certain decisions alter the course of our lives and whether they are really choices at all.

When did we choose our future and what led us to this point right now, right here?

Everyone receives head-phones, a notebook and a torch, which play an important part in the experience. Everyone in the audience is invited to speak up and become part of this ground-breaking new production.

Commissioned by Salisbury Playhouse and The Roundhouse, mountaineering is presented by the award-winning non zero one, which has become one of Britain’s most talked about theatre companies.

Performances of mountaineering start at 7.45pm.

The age guidance is 16 plus.

Tickets are available from the Salisbury Playhouse ticket office on 01722 320333 or at salisburyplayhouse.com.
