Will you get a ‘Golden Ticket’?

Local dance school Roynon Dance Swanmore are in the final stages of rehearsing and producing their sugary sweet adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Running June 27- 28 at The Berry Theatre, Hedge End, dancers and performers of all ages and abilities will perform and profits from the performances will go to Home-Start UK, a charity focused on helping children to get the best start in life.

Rehearsals are ramping up at RDS (based in Swanmore College), as Principal and owner of RDS, Miss Sarah, explains: “Everyone’s really excited now about the show!

"All of our students have worked really hard and are ready to raise lots of money for Home-Start. We want to do what we can to support those children who don’t have the best start in life.”

Tickets are at the golden price of £12 (£10 concessions).

If, however, you’d like to take up a dance style, whether this is for fun, fitness or hopes to become a professional dancer, spaces within the well-established school will be available from July.
