PASHA Kovalev, pictured, who stormed to victory with Caroline Flack in Strictly Come Dancing 2014 brings his live show A Life Through Dance to Bournemouth.

The Siberian-born dancer, who first joined Strictly in 2011 where he partnered Waterloo Road star Chelsee Healey, mentoring her to the semi-finals, and was pipped at the post again in 2012 when he was paired with Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, visits Bournemouth Pavilion on Wednesday, June 10.

The latest tour is his fourth and he promises something entirely new: “Each time I do a different show and create something new.

"I just wanted to explore every day events – meeting people, falling in love, what’s going on in relationships, visualisation of basic emotions.

"There will be a lot of dance and dance styles on stage, from classy waltz, pasa doblas and tangos.

Daily Echo:

"I’m trying to create a show that’s a little bit more accessible and intimate with some audience participation but if people just want to watch they will love it too.

"It’s a little bit of fun. We have a queue of people wanting to get involved and we have to give everyone a fair chance.

"Sometimes people think the people we pick are pre-selected but it’s random – whoever comes and wants to dance.”

Once again Pasha will be joined by his professional dance partner Katya Virshilas.

The show has got all the elements of Strictly: great music, fantastic dancing, amazing costumes, although it’s a lot more intimate and interactive.

“We make our show a little bit more cosy and family orientated and we love to include our audience in what’s going on on-stage.

"We have a little Q&A session where people can ask anything they want to know about Strictly or about Katya and myself.”

The show, which also features four guest dancers.
