For their tenth birthday, Dancewise Studios have put together another ambitious show, celebrating dance and participation, well designed to showcase the talents of their students from tots to adults.
The production packed in a great deal, but the constant changes of style and pace were managed with aplomb.
There was a good use of music - who knew, for instance, that Status Quo made such a good accompaniment to tap - and as would be expected, choreography.
There were some irresistible dance routines and a clever mix of dance styles within certain numbers.
The use of film projection worked brilliantly in Modern Era and Killer Joke, particularly adding to the sense of drama and menace of the latter.
These set the scene for another narrative in the second act, which opened with All it Takes, a fine piece of modern dance.
A good showcase for the joys of dance.
