RUSSELL Kane - star of Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Show, Live at the Electric and more - is stopping off at the Regent Centre in Christchurch for an exclusive comedy jolly next Friday October 2.
He was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Awards at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, winning the main prize in August 2010. His many other comedy award nominations include The Laughing Horse New Act of The Year and the Edinburgh Comedy award.
Russell has filmed four other live stand-up performances and he has presented several television programmes over the years including Big Brother's Big Mouth and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now. He has also hosted Out to Lunch on Radio 2 and presented a Sunday afternoon show on Q Radio.
The Times called him “A seriously good comedian”.
The Master of Mirth show starts at 7.30pm and includes support.
