STAR of Sky 1’s new Bring The Noise, BBC’s: Hair, Live At The Apollo, QI, Mock The Week, ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show and Channel 4’s 8 Out Of 10 Cats, the razor sharp Katherine Ryan has extended her highly acclaimed Kathbum tour, due to phenomenal demand and a total sell-out tour last autumn.

The comic, set to appear in Southampton next month, also enjoyed sell-outs at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Melbourne Comedy Festival and prestigious Oddball Comedy Festival, where she performed alongside Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer.

Recently starring in Sky 1’s flagship new music and comedy entertainment series Bring The Noise, alongside Tinie Tempah, Ricky Wilson and Nicole Scherzinger, Katherine is rapidly becoming a household name.

The last year has seen her profile sky-rocket after a number of high profile TV shows and her extensive Glam Role Model tour, which was extended several times due to outstanding demand and consistently sold out shows. She was the first comedian to sell out her run at the Edinburgh Festival las summer and had multiple extra shows added at the Pleasance and the Gilded Balloon venues.

In 2015, Katherine hosted Hair, a primetime BBC2 series about the world of competitive hairdressing bringing her unique comedy voice to the second series. She has been a regular on BBC2’s Jack Dee’s Election Helpdesk with Romesh Ranganathan and was a headliner on Comedy Central’s new series Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, as well as developing her own series with Hat Trick. Katherine is hosting an episode of the upcoming series Live At The Apollo (BBC One) and she will also be seen on BBC One’s Bruce Forsyth’s Hall Of Fame in early 2016 as well as upcoming episodes of C4’s Cat’s Does Countdown and Sky’s League of Their Own Series 10. Katherine also has a column in the weekly music magazine NME.

She visits Southampton on Friday February 5 with a date at the city's 02 Guildhall for her show Kathbum.
