SASHA Regan’s all male production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore returns to Theatre Royal Winchester May 12-14 following its popular run in 2014.

The company take G&S below deck on a World War Two warship, where the sailors set out to find a distraction from the war with a production of HMS Pinafore, one of their favourite shows.

This energetic show deals with the age old conundrum of love between social classes. HMS Pinafore has infectious tunes and a beautifully constructed libretto, a perfect match for the cast’s inimitable style, inventiveness and fun.

The Evening Standard said of this production, ‘It looks superb, sounds divine and ends happily. Who could ask for more?’

H.M.S. Pinafore is at Theatre Royal Winchester from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 May at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee performance on Saturday. This popular production is already heavily sold but there are still tickets available from theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or by phoning 01962 840 440.
