INTERNATIONALLY renowned children’s theatre company La Baracca are bringing Spot to Winchester Discovery Centre on Sunday ( June 12 ).
Spot is a mischievous yet friendly stage light who loves to tell stories. Spot can be the yellow sun, the blue sea or red fire; a balloon, a hoop or nothing at all. But most of all Spot loves to have fun. Exploring children’s fascination with light, the show focuses on the interplay between light, sound and movement with simple words in English and Italian.
Founded in 1976, La Baracca has produced over 140 shows for children and young people, with more than 9,000 performances across the world from their home country of Italy to Brazil, Finland, Germany, Japan and Mexico. They aim to generate amazement and build a special relationship with their audiences. Many of the scripts written by La Baracca’s authors have been translated and staged by other companies in Austria, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.
Spot is written and performed by Andrea Buzzetti and has been specifically made for children aged 1-4.
Tickets from Winchester Discovery Centre box office on 01962 873603.
