MULTI award-winning theatre company CCADS Theatre are back at Fareham’s Ferneham Hall for the first time since their acclaimed staging of Whistle Down the Wind in 2013 and fresh from the sell-out success of their recent production of Cats.

This time it's with a fast, funny, compelling, moving and fresh new production of the hit fairy-tale musical Into The Woods, recently seen in Disney’s smash hit movie version starring Meryl Streep, James Corden and Johnny Depp.

A childless baker and his wife are told by a witch that they will gain the child they have always wished for if they can find and bring to her four objects: a cow as white as milk, a cape as red as blood, hair as yellow as corn and a slipper as pure as gold. The couple must take to the enchanted woods and, in the course of their quest, the baker and his wife encounter Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack amongst other fairy-tale characters and become part of their stories. Into the Woods goes beyond the stories that we know and examines what happens after ‘Happily ever after’ …. !

CCADS promises an immersive, thrilling new production of this musical classic by James Lapine and the master of modern musical theatre Stephen Sondheim in which the audience will be placed in the very heart of the woods themselves as characters weave in and out of the auditorium and across runways that turn Ferneham Hall into a magical environment full of tall towers, twisting pathways and unexpected events – a true theatrical experience that is not to be missed.

This new production features a cast of some of the finest local talent alongside a 15-piece orchestra and works on many levels to appeal to audiences of all ages.

It runs from Thursday June 16 – Saturday June 18.
