HOT on the heels of The Gruffalo’s sell out tour and monstrous West End success, Tall Stories’ captivating sequel, The Gruffalo’s Child, plays the Nuffield Theatre Southampton next week.
It runs from Tuesday June 28- Sunday July 3.
The Gruffalo’s Child is a magical, musical adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s award-winning picture book. The story begins one wild and windy night, when the Gruffalo’s child ignores her father’s warning and tiptoes out into the snow to find the infamous ‘Big Bad Mouse’. Tall Stories lead us through the tale, bringing to life our favourite characters with music, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3+ and their families.
Tall Stories are the internationally acclaimed theatre company behind The Gruffalo. They present old, new and timeless stories in a physical, visual style using original music. First performed at The Polka Theatre Wimbledon in 2005, The Gruffalo’s Child has toured both nationally and internationally with great success.
