A DRAMA training school for film and TV is launching later this year in Southampton.
And it's offering free taster workshops, starting this weekend.
Designed specifically for adults, the E-Drama Web Television Drama Training School is the brainchild of Stephen Surridge, who has worked on shows such as Brookside, Taggart and The Bill.
Stephen also produced the world's first community produced Television and Internet soap opera - Chalkhill Lives - which ran from 2002 to 2009 to critical acclaim.
The taster workshops will give participants an introduction to the 'Chubbuck Techniques' - the industry leading screen-acting techniques used by top Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Jim Carrey - as well as the chance to act out a number of scenes to camera.
The workshops are set to take place at St. Patrick’s Church Hall in Manor Road South this Saturday and on August 13.
Anyone interested in attending should register for their free place at e-drama.co.uk/
