A NEW circus comedy show and interactive workshop will be wowing Hampshire residents at Hampshire Cultural Trust's Chilcomb House in Winchester later this month, as part of its first ever UK-wide tour.

Jacksons Lane presents Lost in Translation Circus The Hogwallops, a chaotic and colourful tale of a family of misfits touring across the UK after its successful debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year.

The performance will be showcased in three 55-minute performances on July 23 and 24.

The Hogwallops tells the story of 'Grandpa's birthday' through heart stopping virtuosic skilful aerial and floor acrobatics, physical and theatrical comedy, clowning and juggling. Everyday activities take on extreme forms, dinnertime becomes a teasing game of animalistic juggling and a cooking lesson takes on comic proportions with household furniture stacked to the roof.

Jacksons Lane, one of the UK’s most respected and successful circus arts organisation, will also be offering an interactive workshop entitled Join the Circus!

After featuring at Chilcomb House, the tour will continue to another of Hampshire Cultural Trust's venues, Walpole Park in Gosport.

The Hogwallops is suitable for children aged three plus.
