CHRISTMAS came early to Fareham as the stars of Sleeping Beauty got dressed up in their panto finest.

Former Hear'Say singer turned musical theatre star Noel Sullivan will play the dashing male lead Prince Valliant at Ferneham Hall from December 9 to 31.

Noel will be joined by CBBC star Kay Purcell who is best known to millions of children as Gina Conway in Tracy Beaker Returns and the spin-off series The Dumping Ground on CBBC. As well as her work on children’s television, grown ups will remember her as Cynthia Daggert in Emmerdale, Mrs Rennison in So Awkward and Candice Smilie in Waterloo Road. Kay is also no stranger to pantomime and is very much looking forward to playing the Evil Carabosse in this year’s Sleeping Beauty….

Fareham favourite Mark Siney is back playing as Dame Nellie Night-Nurse.

From the team behind last year’s smash hit panto, which brought 20,000 people to see Todd Carty in Dick Whittington and his Cat, comes another pantomime full of music, laughter, amazing special effects and plenty of surprises.

With swash-buckling Prince Valiant, dreams really can come true.
