AGATHA Christie returns to Fareham next week.
Following the success of And Then There Were None last year, Fareham Musical Society are staging Murder on the Nile for three nights from Thursday. With the same production team and many of the same actors, this year's venture into intrigue and mystery promises, based on the celebrated book and famous 1978 film Death on the Nile, to be every bit as gripping.
On a luxurious cruise on the Nile River, a wealthy heiress is murdered. Fortunately, among the passengers are famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and his trusted companion, Colonel Race, who immediately begin their investigation.
But just as Poirot identifies a motley collection of would-be murderers, several of the suspects also meet their demise, which only deepens the mystery of the killer's identity.
This is the fifth show FMS have staged at Ferneham Hall this year.
