ENJOY an evening of sharing as Point Associate Artist Gobbledegook Theatre brings Slideshow to the venue on March 14.

This new seasonal event is an informal and fun gathering in which people are invited to get together and share their ideas, thoughts, holiday snaps and work – just about anything, really – in the Japanese Pecha Kucha 20 x 20 format. Pecha Kucha means sharers have 20 slides at 20 seconds per slide – almost 7 minutes with no stopping!

Lorna Rees, Artistic Director of Gobbledegook, will begin the evening by sharing tales about her recent trip with her Dad. It was the holiday of a lifetime after all. She wants to tell you the story of their adventure, driving the Route 66, cloud-gazing across America, and she’s going to do it via the medium of a slideshow.

You too may have gone on an expedition, have an interesting collection or want to raise awareness about a topic. This is your chance to share whatever it is over a glass of wine (or two), and it’s open to anyone of any age. Expect an evening of exotic adventures, surprising passions and holiday snaps.

f you would like 6.6 minutes of airtime please contact The Point’s Artistic Director Sacha Lee at sacha.lee@eastleigh.gov.uk.
