After fighting off stiff competition Hannah Lowther has secured the role of Princess Snow White in this year’s pantomime at the Kings Theatre Portsmouth in association with New Pantomime Production Ltd.
The Hampshire teenager will be working with a professional cast which includes Melinda Messenger, Anita Harris, Marcus Patrick, Jack Edwards and Simon Grant.
“This is a fabulous opportunity and I cannot wait to meet the cast and get started in rehearsals” said Hannah.
Hannah who is from Basingstoke, started her career at the age of ten playing ‘Brigitta Von Trapp’ in The Sound Of Music at The London Palladium. She has since worked in lots of other productions, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Witches of Eastwick and Oliver.
Hannah, 19 , recently graduated from the Italia Conti Arts Academy of Theatre, gaining a National Diploma in Performing Arts. This is her first adult professional role and she is delighted to be making her pantomime debut in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
