CELEBRATE Halloween with Pocket Theatre's feather boa twirling, insult hurling, hip thrusting, basque busting take on Gilbert and Sullivan's musical comedy Ruddigore, which comes to Hanger Farm Arts Centre from Tuesday.

Robin and Rose are normal healthy kids who end up at the home of Sir Despard Murgatroyd for a night they will never forget.

The company, who have made a name for themselves with small-scale, high energy productions including last year's Curtain Call Best Pantomime, Dick Whittington, comprises of a dozen talented performers who have made their names with the region’s operatic societies and youth theatres and between them have racked up a host of Daily Echo Curtain Call awards.

The show features Pocket favourites Matthew Sturgeon as Robin Oakapple, alongside Adrian Hickford as Sir Roderic Murgatroyd, Lucy Whiteman as Rose Maybud, Annie Tatnall as Mad Margaret with Barry McGonagle as Sir Despard.

Performance times are 7.30pm from Tuesday to Friday.
