JAKE Quickenden - winner of 2018 ITV’s Dancing on Ice and runner-up in ITV’s the X-Factor is set to star in a Hampshire panto.

The multi-talented performer will be at The Kings Theatre, Portsmouth playing the Handsome Prince in Cinderella from Tuesday December 11- January 6.

Jake made his TV debut in X-Factor 2012 where he made a huge impact on audience’s and judges alike. Having got through the judges houses he didn’t make the live shows but in 2014 he gave it another shot and got through to the live shows when Gary Barlow loved his voice and his image.

Hot off the tails of the X Factor Jake was invited to appear in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Jake went on to release his first EP titled ‘I Want You’ followed by his own live tour. Jake won audiences hearts again earlier this year when he went on to win ITV’s Dancing on Ice after an intense final showdown.

The Kings is hugely excited to welcome him back to the stage.

Joining Jake as loyal best friend Dandini is Marcus Patrick, who first appeared on our screens in as Ben in Hollyoaks.

He continued with lots of TV and acting roles but he is most loved in Hampshire having trodden the boards of the Kings Theatre many times.

Returning as the wicked stepmother is local star Jack Edwards. Last year he stole the show as Sarah Spoilit with his audience rapport, spontaneity and a cheeky sense of fun.

It will be the first time Paul Lawrence-Thomas and Harry Howle have played ugly sister as a duo but cannot wait to entertain Portsmouth audiences

Holding the show together will be the naughty but charming Buttons played by Simon Grant, making his second appearance at the Kings. He started his career alongside Fearne Cotton presenting Saturdays Top of the Pops. He then went onto join the on-air team presiding over the CBBC Broom Cupboard.
