A THEATRE will host its first outdoor show in over 21 years this summer and is looking for volunteers.

The Chesil Theatre’s production of The Three Musketeers is a chance for Winchester residents to get involved with one of the oldest drama societies in the country.

Director Martin Humphrey said: “We are very excited to be staging our 300th production since 1966 in the historic gardens of Wolvesey Palace. To make it even more special we want to involve as many people as possible in all aspects of the production from outside of our usual membership. We are looking for lots of volunteers to join our front-of-house, backstage and costume- making teams as well as more actors to audition for parts.

Newcomers are welcome to attend a Three Musketeers information evening on February 28 at 7.45pm at the theatre in Winchester.

Performances of The Three Musketeers will take place on July 8-12.
