THE Who’s iconic rock opera Tommy is being brought to the Hampshire stage by local amateur dramatic group CCADS.
Members are hoping to track down Hampshire residents who were audience extras in late New Forest director Ken Russell’s film version in 1974.
CCADS artistic director John-Paul McCrohon is hosting an event at the Kings Theatre, Southsea, one of the filming locations and the venue for the musical adaptation from June 19 to 21, on May 19 and is hoping to hear all about experiences of making the film.
