RAODS Youth presents the play version of Willy Russell's hugely popular and successful musical Blood Brothers at The Plaza Theatre next week.

The classic story of twins separated at birth is brought to the stage from scratch in just ten days!

The story revolves around twin brothers, Mickey and Edward, who are separated at birth as their single mother cannot afford to keep them both. Raised only streets apart in the heart of Liverpool, the boys’ lives take two very different paths. However, following a chance meeting as young boys, the pair form an unlikely friendship that triggers a series of life-changing and ultimately tragic events.

Directors Becky Mills and Danni Fletcher, who also co-directed last month’s outh production of John Godber’s Teechers are relishing the huge challenge of bringing the show to the stage so quickly.

The play version contains just one song.

Blood Brothers runs from Wednesday to Saturday.
