Peter Pan Musical
Burdock Valley Players
Upper Clatford Village Hall
Director Anna Dowsett chose the show to involve company members of all ages and the colourful show delighted the sold-out audience with Jill Lloyd’s set looking good. Chloe Black, a very talented performer with a sparkling personality and voice to match, starred as Peter, leading the Darling children into the night sky to adventures involving pirates and Red Indians. Millie Southway, as Wendy, played alongside her, sharing the best moments and also performing very well. Andy Poore doubled-up as Mr Darling and Captain Hook and it was as the pirate leader that he excelled. Lee Poore is another leading-light and displayed it particularly well as the Indian Chief and their musical number was a highlight. Jayne Arthurs played Mrs Darling, Elyssa Newell and Xander Gillies their children, no doubt happy at the end that their parents agreed to house the Lost Boys.
