RECENT freezing temperatures failed to dampen the spirits of a Hampshire am dram company who took to the street to promote their show.

Cast members of Alice In Wonderland even enlisted the help of The Guides to brave the winter chill in Ringwood to hand out leaflets about Poulner Players’ next production.

The Players said they were "very grateful" that The Guides and their leaders turned out to help.

Poulner Players are supporting and promoting The Guides’ “Big Build Project” for their hall in Cloughs Road. Profits from front of house sales of the six performances from February 22-25, including two matinees, will be donated to the Guides.

Some of the chilly cast are pictured here, in costume, with the director, Leesa Agar (centre) in bobble hat, and Guides. Tickets are available online at www.poulnerplayers.com. This production will be Poulner Players’ first February show at the 1st Poulner Scouts Hall located by the flyover at the east end of Southampton Road with ample parking.
