HOLBY City and Harry Potter actor Guy Henry will be the guest of honour at the Daily Echo’s Curtain Call Awards later this month.
The British stage and screen actor, best known for his roles in Rome and John Adams, will present our coveted awards to the winners of 37 amateur dramatics categories.
Hosts Ian Murray, the Daily Echo’s editor, and entertainments editor Lorelei Reddin will chat to the actor about life backstage on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows where he appeared as Pius Thicknesse.
The 400 plus guests at the sold out event, at Southampton’s De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel on Friday January 27, will hear Guy talk about his Holdy character Henrik Hanssen.
Guy made his debut with his Mum and Dad in the am dram company The Charity Players of Highcliffe- On-Sea. They regularly won best panto for their antics.
He also attended Brockenhurst College where he took his A-levels.
Guy is RADA trained and has regularly worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company as well as numerous theatre, TV and film roles.
