EXPECT a whole new stack of comedy anecdotes, misunderstandings and audience banter all served up with the inimitable charm and intelligent wit of stand-up, Jason Manford.

The comedian returns to Theatre Royal Winchester for two nights on Monday and Tuesday with First World Problems.

It’s an amusing look at the trivial and mundane, after the popular Twitter hashtag for things that irk privileged people.

He said: “Some of you might think I’ve had a career change what with all the opera and musical theatre I’ve been doing lately. Not a chance, I’m excited to be getting back to what I really love the most – stand up!”

Also a TV presenter and actor, Manford was a regular panellist on 8 out of 10 Cats and One Show host before taking to the stage with West End musical, Sweeney Todd.

He is set to front a topical show called A Funny Old Week, described as a hilarious look at the week’s news...from international political crises to bus stop disputes once his lengthy stand-up tour is complete.
