• STAND-UP comedian Andrew Lawrence brings his dark comic talents to Eastleigh this weekend.

In a warm up for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Andrew will be sharing with audiences a range of Reasons to Kill Yourself.

He’s been on BBC1’s Live at the Apollo and is a regular on Channel 4’s Stand-Up For The Week.

He’s had three series of his own show on BBC Radio and he’s a double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee.

Yet none of that rubbish has brought him any joy. Come and laugh at his disappointing life and some amusing thoughts he’s cobbled together about how awful the world is.

It won’t be an upbeat or lighthearted evening but it does promise to be very, very funny.

Andrew is at The Point tomorrow.

  • Following stand out performances on BBC1’s Live At The Apollo and Have I Got News For You, BBC2’s Mock The Week and ITV1’s The Royal Variety Performance, Hal Cruttenden is strongly tipped as the next big thing.

Footballers, Facebook and food are just three of the topics Hal devours with his unique mix of camp and straight, warm and catty humour.

See his The Tough Luvvie tour at the Berry Theatre tonight.

  • GARY Delaney thinks that most stand up shows don’t contain enough jokes, and is trying singlehandedly to redress the balance.

Expect: jokes. Don’t expect: narrative, themes or a voyage of selfdiscovery from Dave TV’s Top 10 Joke of the Fringe 2013, a regular on Mock the Week and BBC 5Live’s 7Day Saturday.

Double Sony Award winner and Chortle Award nominee Gary is at Hanger Farm Arts Centre in Totton with his Purist show on Thursday.
