Do you sometimes wish you could ask the author a question directly?

Then tomorrow is your chance to do exactly that with three top class authors in a mini literary festival in a day at The Forest Arts centre New Milton.

Erin Kelly’s first novel The Poison Tree was selected for the Richard & Judy Summer Book Club in 2011. The following year it was made into a major two-part drama for ITV.

The Sick Rose and The Burning Air followed, master classes in suspense writing.

Erin’s latest is the haunting murder mystery The Ties That Bind. Erin has also penned the official novel of Broadchurch, published in August, inspired by the first TV series, adding depth and insights into the unforgettable cast of characters.

Judith Kinghorn’s debut novel The Last Summer is an epic and enthralling love story set against the social and political changes spanning the First World War and beyond.

The Memory of Lost Senses is an absorbing, evocative and rich drama of buried secrets and lost love.

Both books were chosen by Barnes & Nobles as part of their Downton Abbey Collection bringing Judith a large American reading audience.

Fergus McNeill (below) is the author of the chilling, contemporary crime thrillers Eye Contact and Knife Edge.

Daily Echo:

Fergus has been designing and creating computer games since the early 1980s including working with Terry Pratchett to create the first Discworld game.

Cut Out is Fergus’ eagerly anticipated new detective novel.

The day will start with a panel discussion involving all the authors before you split into groups to hear more from two authors of your choice.

A sandwich lunch is also included.

  • Books available for sale and signing on the day. Tomorrow, 10am-3.30pm.
