CELEBRATING 150 years of one of the best-loved children’s books ever written, Winchester-based Monkey Nuts Youth Theatre invites you to tumble down the rabbit hole and become part of their fantastical adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The theatre group is looking for creative, enthusiastic children, aged 7-11, to join Alice on her incredible journey.
Become one of the many extraordinary characters that she meets on the way such as the crazy Mad Hatter, the villainous Queen, the constantly late White Rabbit or the street-dancing Knave of Hearts and be part of this theatrical spectacular taking to the stage in July 2015.
Whether you want to sing, dance or act, MNYT prides itself on being an exciting performance based youth theatre where you can develop your skills and let your imagination run riot!
It’s a great place to make new friends as well as learn new skills or improve the ones you already have as along the way.
Workshops are led by directors Noel Jones and Harriet Morris, who between them share many years of experience within youth theatre and the performing arts.
Based at Kings’ School, MNYT will begin again today with the first session as a free taster.
MNYT participants meet every Tuesday 5-6.30pm at the Community Lounge, Kings’ School, Winchester.
