A YOUTH theatre group are off to see the wizard...

Debut Youth Theatre is performing the family favourite Wizard of Oz this week at Totton's Hanger Farm, Arts Centre.

A cast of 40 children from across Hampshire retell the popular tale of Dorothy (played by 12-year-old Hannah Irvine) and her adventures with the Scarecrow (Dominic Sly), Tin Man (Caitlin Buckley) and Cowardly Lion (Tim Syed) in the merry old land of Oz.

The production, directed by Wendy South, features the music from the famous MGM musical Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg including Follow the Yellow Brick Road and Somewhere over the Rainbow.

Tickets £9 (£7 concessions) are available for shows tonight (Thursday, July 9) tomorrow and Saturday from the box office on 023 8066 7683. Curtain up at 7.30pm each evening and at 2.30pm for a matinee on Saturday.
