JOLI Vyann return to The Point stage next week to perform the world premier of their show Imbalance.
With an exclusive first showing of their aerial dance production, Joli Vyann explore the contemporary world. With a striking visual performance and an exploration of how in, or out of balance, people are, using our reliance on technology as a motif, the performance fuses dance, circus and gravity-defying acrobatics.
Produced by frequent collaborators of The Point, Turtle Key Arts, with choreography by Olivier Award nominee Jonathan Lunn, Imbalance is a thought-provoking production that gets its audience thinking via elegant dance sequences and aerial skills. Lunn is an acclaimed choreographer and has been a leading dancer for many years with London Contemporary Dance Theatre. He has worked on films including Truly, Madly, Deeply and audience favourite Love, Actually.
