THE drinks are on The Thinking Drinkers when they present their comedy Guide To The Legends Of Liquor at Theatre Royal Winchester on February 5.
Written and performed by Ben McFarland and Tom Sandham, the show goes on a hilarious journey through the lives of history’s most extraordinary drinkers including Andre The Giant, James Bond and Jesus Christ.
The Thinking Drinkers say the aim of their show is to revive the lost art of discerning drinking. To help in this endeavour, everyone in the audience gets five free drinks while Ben and Tom hail the who’s-who of hooch.
The award-winning drinks experts, whose Guide to Alcohol sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for three years running, write for the Daily Telegraph and are the authors of The Enlightened Imbiber’s Guide To Alcohol.
The unique comedic drinking show headlines a week of activities throughout the city in the first ever Winchester Cocktail Week.
