AS part of the spring dance season at The Point, Eleanor Sikorski and Flora Wellesley Wesley collaborate as Nora in a double bill on February 12.
The evening follows on from informal industry event Café Choreographique and begins with the brilliantly bonkers BLOODY NORA! devised by Liz Agiss. Agiss is a renowned artist, dancer, choreographer and filmmaker who has created this performance made up of clippings, archives and assorted individuals. Sikorski and Wellesley perform the piece, made just for them, in a suitably daring and bold fashion.
Following the inventive BLOODY NORA! is Eleanor and Flora Music, a piece choreographed by Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion, performed again by Nora. This latter piece is a re-imagined performance of earlier work that is a silent and engulfing production unlike anything you would have seen before.
