TALKING Scarlet returns to The Haymarket in Basingstoke next week with Peter Gordon’s Secondary Cause of Death, the second in the trilogy of Inspector Pratt whodunit spoofs.
The production stars a host of favourite actors including Jeffrey Holland (Hi-de-Hi! and You Rang M’Lord?), David Jansen (Get Some In and Keeping Up Appearances), Michelle Morris (The Knock), David Callister (The Bill) and Judy Buxton (On the Up).
Inspector Pratt arrives at Bagshot House with grim news for Colonel Craddock, but that's just the beginning. Who is the strange Polish Count? Is Henrietta really an army captain? How does the eccentric thespian Longfellow fit in to the equation?
These are just some of the characters who make Pratt's return a chaotic nightmare as the bodies pile higher and higher, and the plot and subplots grow deeper and deeper in thoroughly entertaining confusion.
