FRAUD, bigamy and attempted murder mark the start of Theatre Royal Winchester’s autumn season of drama next week.
Inspired by the work of the Victorian novelist Anthony Trollope, Lady Anna: All At Sea plays from Monday to Wednesday.
No-one creates better characters and plots than Anthony Trollope and none are finer than in Lady Anna, the story of young a woman willing to risk all for love.
The dramatic and witty play, commissioned by the Trollope Society and written by Craig Baxter, finds Trollope writing the novel while sailing to Australia. As his tale of rebellion and social politics develops, both Lady Anna and Trollope find themselves facing some very difficult decisions.
